IPod updater question

I have an odd Ipod question. I was looking in my add/remove programs in my control panel today, and I have 3 different Ipod updater programs that I have used at various times to update the Ipods in the house. My question is, once they have been run and the Ipods have been updated, can I delete the updater programs? They use quite a bit of disk space, one of them over 100MB. Does anyone know?

I am not sure - I updated to the new itunes and now I can't get into the music store. they say to reinstall the disk I have but I am afraid of losing all my songs. when you find out these answers I want to know too. good luck.

It appears that you have to have at least one version of the ipod updater present but you can delete older versions.

Thank you, I will get rid of the oldest two versions.

You can delete them anytime you want. You might not be able to attach your computer and ipod anymore but you can still uninstall to your hearts' delight.
