If you did, how did it go? I've been reading about all the problems V2.0 is causing and am really considering holding out until some firmware fixes come out. Thanks!

I've not had any problems myself. Safari still crashes every once in a while, but no new problems.

Thanks for the responses. I'm afraid I'm going to lose all my info in contacts and my calendar. Contacts is backed up on my computer, but the calendar is not. I'm also afraid of losing all my music because I'm on a new computer and lost all my music on iTunes on my old computer died. I don't think I'm in good shape here to upgrade:confused3

I don't use calendar, but can it not be backed up with iTunes? Your music can be synced with iTunes, so that's not an issue.

We did the upgrade, no issues. We also did the MobileMe upgrade and no problems with that either. Calendar, mail etc. are all pushed to the Itouch automatically which is nice. Also the maps feature seems to work better, maybe it is just me, but it seems as though the WiFi search feature is easier now, it seems to just pick up a signal rather than having me go through the settings feature. Also try some of the new apps...Othello is fun, weatherbug is a good one too, scribble has been a good one to have when I have been out with the kids, my 5 year old has used it to draw small pictures and then I can save them and use them as a screensaver.

I purchased my iPod Touch with V2.0 preinstalled. I've not had any problems to date execpt Safari crashing every once and awhile which, from what I've heard and read, is a common problem.

I also have my Gmail account synced to the Mail program. My .Mac account used to be synced as well, but I was using a 60-day trial... $60+ for an e-mail account and a bunch of features I will never use seems to be a bit much.

My favorite apps are Safari, Maps, and Weather. I use all of them on a daily basis. I think an upgrade is definitely worth the cost. :)
