Ipod Touch or IPhone?

I love my Ipod 80GB, but I'd love it to do more. I'm dying to get and play with all these wonderful apps.

I'm toying with the idea of getting an Iphone, but I don't really need one (my old Razr works fine) and I like the capacity of my Ipod 80GB (my Itunes library has over 140GB of video on it alone).

Should I get the Iphone with its smaller capacity or get an IpodTouch with a bit more capacity? I'm worried that I'll spend the $$$ for the Ipod Touch and then decide I really wanted the phone.

I decided on the itouch because I love to text and find a regular text phone is faster.
One word on the itouch is pick 32. I bought 16 and its almost full. I use my Itouch for books, movies, TV, podcasts ,and games.

Actually I would wait till June and see what the big iphone announcements will be. Some blogs are saying a iPhone with larger capacity will be announced. I'd hate to see you miss out by a few weeks.

I did hear rumors of a Iphone announcement in JUne. I will probably wait until then. I only hope it isn't announced at the END of June. I can hardly wait now as it is.

I vote for the iphone.

I have the itouch 32 and I wish I had the iphone. I love my touch, but I wish I could get online anywhere and having one gadget would be a lot better. I'd feel more organized too.

I have iphone envy.

Depends. With a touch you will need a wifi hotspot. I have a touch, because the iphone does not get good service where I live. I also am a heavy texter, and i don't think the iphone would so so great for texting. (I love my LG Env2 for that). I mostly use my touch at home and at work where I have wifi, so it makes no diff. to me. Although, there are a few apps. that only work on the iphone. (Not too many).

I think that you should wait till June however, like the other posters said.

Anyway, I LOVE my touch. (Pandora internet radio is the best!!) Whatever you decide, good luck!
