Ipod Touch bundle deal

I thought there was a thread about any deals going on before BF but I can't find it when I search.

This week (Sunday - Wednesday) Best Buy is having a deal on a bundle, its a pretty good one, like getting a few accessories free.
For $219.97 you get Ipod Touch 8GB, wall charger($25.99), 2 pk silicone case($22.99), and a $15 Itunes card.

The acessories they are offering are overpriced and useless in mho.

The wall charger can be bought at Marshalls in a belkin kit with a car charger, wall charger, extra usb cable, fm transmitter for $19.99
(they sell this same kit at amazon for $39.99, just search Belkin iPod Starter Kit - F8Z951)

Silicon cases do nothing but protect from scratches and run about $5

so unless these are just things you want this deal is not as good as it seems.

I have to disagree about the useless part, that charger is definitely good to have, especially when you are vacationing without a laptop to plug your ipod into in. I also like the silicone case because of the rubber like properties so it can absorb some of the shock from a bump, or a little fall as well as protect against scratches.
I do agree with it being overpriced stuff thats for sure, but if someone is planning on getting the Touch and a $15 itunes card anyway this deal isn't too bad, especially if they aren't going out on BF.

Thanks for the info about the Belkin kit, I'm going to grab one for dd, there is no way I'm going on vacation with her again without a way to charge her ipod

Well ok not entirely useless but there are better deals for a charger like the one I pointed out and with a little research on google you can find a 8 gig from $150-$180 without alot of trouble being that the 8 gig is the same in a 2nd gen or a 3rd generation.

Oooohhhh...that sounds painful!!!!

We bought DD a 32g ipod touch yesterday for her main Christmas gift. We opted to not get the packages. Although we have it "in the back of our mind" that she will most likely need additional charging capabilities. We want to assess if anything else that we have will/will not work, as DD has many charging adapters for her video ipod...a wall charger...tune juice...I think a car charger etc.

DD was one popular kid on her HS band trip to Spain...she was one of the few that had an ipod wall charger...and an awesome voltage convertor.
