I see amazon has it for $269 - I think it used to be $279 - and also no tax on Amazon....
this is the best I've seen for this model since all the promos are for the 8G - grrrr

That's the best deal I've seen... I got it on Black Friday from Amazon for $258 with $10 Discover card discount, free shipping & no tax. I was very excited and pleased with this price. Didn't even have to get out of my jammies!

The next best price that I've seen is Target in-store. They have it for $295 less 10%. But you have to pay taxes.

I've been watching for the 32gb too and this is the best deal I've seen so far. I'm thinking about ordering it soon, because I'm afraid that the price is going to go back up again. The in store deals aren't worth it to me because of the tax.

I just ordered this last night from Amazon. I don't think there will be a better deal, so decided to just do it. I had signed up for the free trial of Amazon Prime, so free shipping and no tax. I'll be surprised if something better comes along - if it does however, I'll return this one if it's a significant amount less ($20 or more).

The cheaper one I see at Amazon is not the current generation. I'm not sure if that is important to you, but make sure you are comparing apples to apples in pricing.

We got our there as well, it was $265 with $10 shipping. DD was so excited to get it she paid $12.99 for overnite and it still took 3 days! We got a free charger, case and two silicone skins (with rebates). She really wanted it engraved so that limited where we could get it.

In a roundabout way I got it from bestbuy.com for $265. Cyber Monday price is $269.99. We have Kroger grocery stores here in Atlanta - Kroger is running a deal where for each $100 in gift cards you buy from their display of retail gift cards - you get $10 off. So - on the way home from work today - I got $200 in Best Buy gift cards from Kroger for $180. Then I ordered the 32Gb touch from Bestbuy.com - applied the gift cards. But then they added tax...if I hadn't paid tax I would have gotten it for $249. So the net of all that is that I saved $4 between the gift cards deal and them adding tax. Oh well - I tried!!!

Any of you that shop at Kroger might want to think about getting gift cards there while they are running that special. I believe you can mix and match cards from different stores.
