Ipod refurbs worth it?

I bought the 512MB Shuffle off Ebay about 2 years ago (the one that looks like a white pack of stick gum) and it still works great!

glad to hear it, grandson 13 wants an Ipod for Christmas.


Something I learned on the dis if phones, Ipods etc get wet do not turn them on, if possible take the battery out and put the item in a baggie of uncooked white rice. The rice will absorb the moisture.

AHH thanks for the tip - I learned kittylitter would dy lots of things too (like throwup - LOL) but I never heard of rice - COOL!

Not an ipod, but my iPhone is a refurb and I haven't had any problems with it. I've had it a little less than a year, I think.
