Ipod Help needed asap!

Help! Does anyone know if the Disney mix stick mp3 player can download music from itunes?? I completely forgot my neice got the Disney mp3 player for Christmas not the ipod (her bro got the ipod) and i oreded them both itunes gift cards to dl music. UGH!!

I'm not 100% sure, but I believe the music on iTunes is in a format proprietary to Apple and which can only be used by iPods.

I know when I had a Creative Zen..it was not compatible with Itunes. I'm not sure about the Mix Stick. But I don't think so.
