Ipod and shuffle?

On the 6th gen nano and the ipod touch can you set the shuffle or can it only be done by shaking the ipod?

Just wanting to get an ipod to dock and want the shuffle feature, but don't want to physically have to shake it!!

on the dock I have you can set press the shuffle button, I know on all the iPods I have ever had you can also shuffle by setting it as well as shaking. Not sure about those particular models though.

yes you can im pretty sure my ipod is the 6th gen ipod touch... either way at the top under the bar which shows how far through the song yu are theres the shuffle icon like the one on itunes you just touch that and it activates the shuffle =]
