I know I can always just good advice from the Disboards...I just ugraded my phone to my first smartphone. I had my heart set on the Iphone 4 because I needed a new Ipod and for the price Verizon's Iphone 4 is comparable in price to the Ipod Touch I wanted. Some how ended up with the Incredible 2. I am having a little buyers remorse. I just think it's confusing maybe too much of a first step in the smartphone world. First I cannot set my ringer so I can hear it, I think I do but yet I never hear calls and find basic features more than once- like the alarm. I am not crazy about the keyboard. I took a call and the music did not mute. But so far I am loving the email, camera and the ease to go back home.

I have 14 days to trade it if I decide to. I am just afraid that I will always wish I had an Iphone. My compelling reasons: 1) Itunes-I am married to it and love it. I have put so much time into my playlists and hate to have to reload all that music again and then not to have it organized the way I like it. 2) Netflix is available now. 3) Genius-love these feature.

questions, how easy is the Iphone keypad and how does the camera measure up? Will I be able to upgrade software when the new Iphone 5 comes out? If I do this should I do the 16 or 32? How is the battery?

Please steer me in the right direction. What would you do....

Thanks in advance.

Camera is superior on an Incredible, you can get NetFlix for Droid phones (it's in the Market). Battery is superior on an iPhone compared to a Droid, but it's how multi-tasking works on both devices, you need to watch apps on a Droid. I personally HATE iTunes, so I cannot comment much on this. Your iPhone will be net-hindered because of no Flash (yes, this is an issue, and yes, I run into it almost daily in surfing - which is why I have a Droid and not an iPhone - but my partner has an iPhone). HTML5 is coming which will help make Flash obsolete, but don't expect it to hit mainstream status for at least 1 year, if not 2 - 3 years.

My son has an Incredible, my husband and I have Droid 2's. We got them last year, have had them 7 or so months. I too am an Itunes fan, but love the Droid operating system. I ahve almost no battery issues, yes, I have to charge every night, but the battery usually lasts all day unless I am in an area with poor coverage and the phone is searching for service a lot. I was just at a party yesterday with some of my family that have Iphones, and they all had battery boosters on theirs as they were complaining about battery life. As far as your music in itunes, verizon media manager will allow you to pull your itunes library to your android device, I'm almost positive. I haven't moved mine, I still use my Touch for music, but i think if you look on the verizon website you'll find that you can do that.

We like our Droids, good luck with deciding!

Go for the iPhone.

I had a BB that kept breaking so New Years Eve I got my Droid Incredible. Loved it at first. I knew Verizon was coming out with the iPhone but didn't want to wait another few months. Kids have iPod touches, DH has the iPad 2 and iPhone. I so wish i had waited.

The screen resolution is so much nicer on the iPhone. It is easier to navigate. I could share their downloads, music, movies, etc. There are more free aps on the droid bu they seem like limited editions compared to the more full featured ones on the iphone/ipad/itouch

and yes, my battery is horrible.
