Do you have a cover or bumpers for your phone or are you using it without? I've ordered bumpers but they won't be here until the end of august. I picked up the griffin version yesterday and don't really like it but the idea of using it without makes me nervous! I'd love to hear what others are doing!

My wife has a bumper on hers, but I've been using mine bareback. I'm just careful to hold the phone so I don't touch that gap on the lower left side and its not a problem.

I have used a bumper case since release day. I love it. It adds protection for the corners which is the most likely spot to get damaged and it also holds the screen off of the table when laying flat(preventing scratches). I am planning on adding the invisashield to the front and back to preserve the nice looking glass.

It's a great looking phone and the bumper allows you to appreciate that.

I haven't used a case on my iPhone since the 3G. I've had the iPhone 4 for a few weeks now, and can't even imagine covering it up. I keep it in my pocket, and have never experienced issues with scratches or anything, so I'll be staying naked thank you very much.

I used mine 'naked' for a while and had no problem with it. Now, I have a bright pink bumper because when I work, I carry the phone on top of my notebook (I don't attach it to my body ) and I prefer to have something around it that gives it more grip so it won't slide.

I like the bumper because you can still see the phone even with it on. I think the iPhone is really beautiful and I have always deferred to cases that have a very minor profile, at least on the front.

My phone is naked too! Ordered the free bumper and guess I will see it maybe by October? Until then being very careful. It is my first iphone.

I don't hate ATT even though they took away my job and I was forced to retire....I will make the best of it....

Best buy has the zagg covers, as well as some others. Zagg covers require more effort for application (spraying a solution on the screen and a wait of 12-24 hours) at the local mall, there was a kiosk with similar covers which they would install.

I have a soft rubber cover from bestbuy, and am awaiting delivery of whichever the second to last case option may be. My pockets must be caustic, because the last three phones I've owned all have had rather scratched screens, so I don't want to chance it with this phone.

I am bare right now but ordered the (free) INCASE SNAP CASE IPHONE 4 from Apple with a ship date of 9/1. There was a case I really wanted that was clear all over except with purple sides but it isn't in stock yet. I am hoping I made the right choice with the Incase Snap Case - there were 6 or 7 cases to choose from and I only wanted a bumper if it were available in purple.

I thought that antenna-aid idea was pretty clever. And of course you can probably rig up something similar with items found in your own household while waiting for the bumper to ship.

Have had a bumper on my iPhone 4 since about a week after launch day, as it took me that long to find and buy one. I believe that the phone is just a beautiful piece of hardware and don't really want to cover it up. So I'm glad that the bumper puts the protection where needed the most without covering up the entire phone.

I actually just got my Speck Candyshell case today after ordering it a few weeks ago. I really thought this was the case I wanted because I had the same case on my 3G. I put it on and I'm really not digging it, it just seems to make the phone too bulky. I love the look/feel of the 4 but I am just too scared of dropping it without having a case on it. I looked at the free cases from Apple and I kinda like the Griffin ones or the Incase Snap case, but I really wish I could see/feel them before ordering. My wife thinks I'm absolutely crazy and way too picky (and she is probably right), but I have yet to see a case that just begs "put me on your phone". I'm pretty sure our choices will be better in 6 months, but I want something NOW. I'm also really waiting for the Power Support shields to come out, although I'm not sure if I am going for the crystal or anti glare version.

Mine is naked for now - but it is slippery. I have had very few reception problems at all, regardless of how I hold the phone - but I am looking forward to the free case (even if I have to wait a few weeks) and just glad I don't have to pay for one!

Thanks everyone! I too like the look of the iPhone 4 so I'm hoping to have just the bumpers and not a full case as I did on the 3G, however I am totally afraid of dropping it.

I have had quite a few challenges but I still love the phone I'll be picking up my third one (third times the charm right?) on Saturday. First my camera didn't work and now I have the dreaded yellow spots that won't go away midway down my screen. Often apparently they go away on their own but after 10 days it appears I wasn't so lucky. I'm really looking forward to using the video feature on our next trip to WDW. The video I've taken so far has been so clear - it's really fantastic!

Just bought the invisible Shield today from CPW. Already my stress level at damaging the screen of my iPhone 4 has reduced I don't want to test Apple's statement that the screen is scratch resistant.
