just set up my ipad air -

i have an iphone and on the iphone i always use the facebook app/dis board app etc.

So on your ipad do you use the "apps" or do you use the website online and bookmark that?

i am so use to using my netbook and going to my favories - like i'll go to macys.com or nordstroms.com - is it easier to use the apps that are available or use the websites?

thanks and Happy Thanksgiving!

Ooh, an iPad Air ... nice!

For me, it depends on which I'm used to. The Facebook and DIS apps are full-featured and, IMO, provide better interactions than their respective websites. But for some things -- stores I buy from frequently, for instance -- I prefer going to their full sites.

I usually just go to the website rather than using dedicated apps, except for one of my banks. Their app is very good.

Agree that it depends on the App. Generally I use the apps on my iPad but some are poorly designed so for those I go with safari.

I use the web site for facebook on the iPad. A friendo f mine uses the ap and complains how hard it is. I never have a problem with the site.
