I am trying to find out if Solitaire and word search games can be loaded and played on any, or all of the above??? I am not familiar with these e-reader devices and whether or not games can be loaded like on the IPAD. My Mom loves solitaire on her computer and does word search books the old fashioned way, but I was thinking there may be a way to load word search books on the e-readers. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

The Nook only comes with Chess and Sudoku, no other games at this time and as far as I know you can not load other games onto the device. Not sure about the others.

I have an iPad and a Kindle. I know you can download game apps ( thousands of the) on the iPad. Now someone may have "hacked" into the Kindle and found a way but, I don't know of any now.

I have the iPad and love it. You can do crosswords, word search, pretty much anything on it. Many apps are free too. My son's word search app was free and came with 10 puzzles, for $2.99 you could get the full collection of 100 puzzles. We love it in this house!

We WANT an ipad at our house. But, we want to wait until there is a camera on it for video chat. However, I did just buy DH a color Nook -- and it's really cool!! I don't know anything about Kindle.

The Kindle has lots of word games available for immediate download, several of them free. Most are $4.99. You pay once and the game is yours regardless of how many times you play.
