Anyone buy an ipad from the state
and if so how did you take it back in the boxed or opened

My hubby bought a iPad while in States on business, he opened up box and put iPad in with his laptop in hand luggage.

I am thinking about doing the same, is there anyway that they can identify it as being purchased in the USA if we get stopped?

SIL bought back my iPad in the original wrapping, unopened in their hand luggage.
Mind you it was the 16Gb wi-fi so within customs allowance.
