Who do you buy a warranty from for your iPad 2? One that will cover accidential damage, as the AppleCare does not.

I thought I have read about Square Trade before, but when I went to their website - I could not find anything that indicated Canadians could purchase this.

I found on their website that Canadian residents can purchase Care Plans but they will only cover items from certain retailers:

The SquareTrade Care Plan is available to residents of the 50 United States, except Maine, for eligible items purchased from a retail store, retail website, or through eBay.

Care Plans are also available through Amazon.co.uk to residents of the United Kingdom, for items purchased from Amazon.co.uk or any other authorized UK retailer.* See our UK home page for more information.

For Canada and Puerto Rico, we cover purchases at eBay US, TigerDirect, and CompUSA stores and websites.

We do not offer direct warranty purchases to Canadian, UK, or Puerto Rico residents yet, but we hope to be able to offer this coverage directly in the near future.

So, you would not be able to purchase any type of coverage for your iPad unless you purchased through one of the above mentioned retailers, and I'm not sure what a Care Plan is vs a direct warranty purchase.

Hmm... I guess Square Trade is out then. That's pretty limited as to which company you can purchase an item if you want to insure through them. These iPads were purchased at FutureShop. Thanks for finding that information for me.

Does anyone know of another company?
