Ionithermie????Sounds too good to be true!

Hi!

I was just doing some reading about treatments available at the spa and the Ionithermie treatment caught my eye! If I could lose inches after one $150.00 treatment, I'm thinking it would be worth it! Anyone had any experience with this treatment?? I'm thinking a cruise and losing inches PINCH ME NOW!!!

I did this on a cruise last summer. They told me that my dress would fit so much nicer that night. My dress fit fine before the treatment, and fine afterwards. No noticable difference. I had it done on my stomach area. I honestly could not tell a difference. You feel lighter once they take the weight of the gook off. I honestly think this is just a gimmick. It makes you feel slimmer because you buy into it. They measure you fast, and loosley so that when they measure you after the treatment you appear to lose inches. They give you the hard sell on the complete de-tox program that includes lots of supplements to keep the process going. I won't do it again. Live and learn!

Thanks Holly! I'm glad I asked beforehand! If I had read the description when I was onboard I probably would have fallen for it hook line and sinker! I've never had a spa treatment of any kind. Thanks for your honesty!

You know what really got me? My friend was with me and she is thin everywhere, and they tried to tell me I lost 6 inches around my waist and that she lost 6 inches around her already very very very thin thighs. After we swapped stories about the product pushing and we with both of us losing the same "magic" amount of inches we realized we were took. We did enjoy the idea of having a spa treatment. The treatment we LOVED was a warm oil scalp and shoulder massage. That was worth every penny. I think on the Disney Ship, I will do the spa taster, and I love the Rainforest room!

Agree wtih Holly. Both myself and my sister tried this. We were just as fluffy after as we were before.

I got one better than this, it's called go on a diet and workout and you will loose inches before the cruise! Why wait till you are on the boat to loose inches. I lost 8 lbs and I don't know how many inches, but let's just say my pants were loose! I did this in 2 weeks time. Didn't cost me anything! They tried to sell me on this and I told them I will just stick with working out.

Hi! Just did this on the WONDER Saturday night. LeAnn was the girl that did it- Very nice- Said I lost 7 3/4 inches- the most anyone lost on that particular cruise. I am not buying it!! She tried to sell me $369.00 worth of stuff. I did learn alot that I am sure will help me at home (nutrition, antioxidents etc..) This was not a relaxing spa expierence. Actually it is a very uncomfortable process. I didnt buy any of the products. LeAnn was so nice in the begainning but wasnt as warm when I told her I wasnt buying anything.

Just a note...If you put on the bottom of the form you complete "No sales presentation, please" when you arrive at the spa, they have normally honored that request. It removes the stress at the end that destroys the de-stressing!
