I've seen a few remarks on the boards that has me confused about IOA since the addition of HP. We are going to IOA 1st week of April. We care nothing about HP books or movies or rides (GASP!!) and plan to avoid those areas like the plague. However when we had gone to IOA years ago, you could walk from Jurassic to LC to Seuss following the 'main trail'. Is that no longer the case? My DDs love Jurassic and Seuss and taking that route will be the shortest for us. But some posts made it sound as if you had to walk back thru Toon and Heroes to get to Seuss from there. It may be crowd related - not sure. Any info appreciated! :)

Yes you can avoid Wizarding World. Just after Lost Continent, take the bridge to the left that will take you to Jurassic Park or vice versa.

::yes:: damo always got the answers :thumbsup2

And even though you may not be a fan, I still STRONGLY recommend getting to the park early and making a beeline for Potter. It's something you have to see, and you may just love it. Or at least try Butterbeer :thumbsup2

Not to be argumentative, but I was there in December and either there was no bridge there, or else it was blocked off. At the point where Lost Continent ended and the archway for Hogsmeade appeared there was a big dark green wall or gate to the left and no park goers could go that way. I circled the park a couple of times and never saw any way to avoid WWoHP except to just turn around around and backtrack.

They only open the bridge when it's very very crowded.

Really? It's been open every time I've been there, none of which were very, very crowded. It never even occurred to me that they would close the bridge.
