My family and I have been planning a trip to Disney World towards the end of May. We have one day that we are just relaxing at the resort, and I'm considering making a day trip to IoA to see my beloved WWoHP. I'd be going single rider wherever I can, I'm just trying to figure out if it's worth it to pay for a cab, a one day ticket, etc. If I get there at 'rope drop,' would I be able to tour, do a decent amount of rides (headliners mostly!), and arrive back at my hotel in disney by 1-2pm? Is this a realistic plan? Thanks for any ideas/input!

Only you can decide if the one day ticket (and travel expenses) is worth it to you. One day tickets are the most costly. If you only want to do the WoHP and some other headliners, I am sure you could get alot done in the first 2 hours or so from rope drop. So, by mid afternoon and single rider lines, you should be able to do most of IOA.

Good luck. Most of us like to do the motherland (Disney) and the darkside (USO) separately. The resort hotels at USO are very very nice, and speniding a few days there is really relaxing with the unlimited express pass included free with a hotel stay. Plus, the cost of doing a day or two along with Disney vacation tends to be an expensive side trip.

I really enjoy USO, so that's my 2 cents. If you can afford, and want, do it.

If it's worth it to you, it's worth it.

I personally wouldn't go to the park JUST for WW, mainly because there's so much cool stuff on the way to and from WW. :) Though I will admit sometimes we want to go in just for Butterbeer and a Rock Cake. That never works out, though, as we ride things on the way in and out.

And I personally wouldn't want to leave by 1 or 2, I'd stay the whole day.

But if that's truly enough for you (and since you call it your beloved WWOHP I figure you've been there before and know how you feel), then it's worth it.

I am the same way if you think it's worth it then go for it cause its a vacation and its made to be fun and if wwohp is fun for you then its worth it

i have visited a park just for a couple of rides before.

how can you be so close and not go to the park .............?

In May, many local school groups will be in the park on Fridays.

avoid the weekend if you can for less crowds.
