IOA and US 4/22 & 4/23

Hi all, lurker for a while....disboards helped a ton on our Disney trip last fall.

We'll be in Orlando for a brief time to visit US and IOA Sunday and Monday. 6 of us, so we're staying off site. The Express Pass site shows Sunday as the quieter day, so I was thinking doing IOA on that day and US on Monday. However, now looking at the weather Sunday looks to be a rainy day and US is a better park for rain, no? We could also get the multi-park passes about $120 extra, I think, but I always hate to part with cash-ola if I don't have to. If we only did the single park, which park for which day? For Multi-park what is the travel time between parks? Kids love Mr. Potter, so maybe we'll want to visit WWOHP both days?

The two parks' gates are less than a 5-minute walk apart. I would stick with IoA Sunday and Studios Monday personally (for crowd purposes) and not change due to weather forecasts. Good luck and have fun!

This weekend is grad-bash which will increase the crowds starting in the late afternoon. Both parks close to day guests at 6:00 PM.

I'm here now and this is the best time (crowd wise) I've had here. We went to US today and IOA yesterday. We even didn't arrive to the parks til after 10am (parks opened at 8am) and had plenty of time to see everything. Our longest wait the past 2 days was for the mummy today which was about 30 minutes. Our 3rd and final day at the resort is tomorrow and I'm expecting it to be even more mellow then it was the past 2. The rain really hasn't been too bad and I think its keeping many people away.

As for gradnights that was only tonight and yesterday. The parks are open til 8 tomorrow.
