Oh, he's sooooo cute! Hand-fed cockatiels make the sweetest babies, and I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun with Zazu! We had a Cockatiel named Sunny, and he loved to play "fetch" with ds. Ds would roll a little ball (like a ping pong ball, but with holes in it) across the floor, and Sunny would run and catch it and bring it back to him. It was like playing peek-a-boo with a baby--they could play this for hours!

I wanted to respond to this thread earlier but the computer at work won't bring up linked pics . I used to have one with the same coloring and he was very friendly.

The funniest thing....DH's ex HATES birds. She was in my house when my bird decided to fly and land on her head !!!!!!!!
I know, I'm mean. But it sure was funny!!!!

What a beauty!! We had 2 cockatiels.. One Tequila and the other Sunrise.. Tequila passed away about 3 weeks ago.. I feel so bad for Sunrise as she seems so lonely
