We are in the middle of buying intrawest and I am just wondering it anyone on here can offer insight on how easy or hard it is to transfer our points into DVC points for stay at disneyland or aulani??

It's not likely you'll get in to either on an exchange. You might be able to get in through the BVTC or whatever it's called on the CI side. If a large part of your reason for buying CI is to trade to DVC, you should stop now and investigate further before proceeding.

I own both at CI and DVC. I have found it very difficult to exchange from CI into DVC, but much easier to trade from DVC into CI.


Personally, I find CI more expensive then DVC in purchase price and maintenance fees.

If you are buying a CI resale, you are restricted to ONLY using your points at a CI resort.

And no home resort IIRC which can be a blessing and a curse but overall is an advantage for the planners IMO.
