intimate packages

hiya again
been reading the posts, is anyone just following the imtimate package as it comes, or is it better to find another photographer/florist etc? (as quite a few other people seem to have done)
ive booked the intimate package through virgin holidays and am flying out from the UK. it says we should/can book the officiant but thats not in the options sent out by virgin or disney. should i email disney weddings or will it come through later?
also how do i go about booking the MK bridal photo session and when should i do it?

Hi Karantan,

When we have been looking into this the standard package you get in the uk doesn't seem upto much, as you only get a dozen photos max!

We have booked Randy Chapman, who has been brilliant so far, and if you read the boards gets nothing but high praise!

We have booked the magic kingdom portrait session also which is $725 and payable locally.

We booked ours through thomas cook and i done this through them so maybe worth speaking to whoever you booked it through

how did you go about booking randy? how much extra will it be and does he give you any photos/proofs/cd?
ive got an option through virgin to buy an additional 50 photo package which i think we will do for $400, but you get all the photos and the negatives too.
going to phone disney weddings tomorrow and book the magic kingdom photo package direct with them.

Randy is great, you can get his website addr off yourfairytale.com, but i think it is www.chapmanphotography.com

cost us about $630 but he gives you over 100 photos ina small proof album, and a master cd with the high res images on so you can get anything blown up or copies made etc.

we checked out quite a few people for photos etc, and he def seems to be the best

Hi there,

We just got back from our Pavilion Wedding with Disney and Virgin which was fab.

The 12 photos is def not enough for a wedding so after meeting the Virgin Coordinator in Orlando booked their add on package. Once you see this you will be amazed at what you get for the price. We paid about $850 got 60 8 x 10 photos which are the nice big ones in a georgeous leather album with gold edging and a CD Rom, The photos are done in a mixture of colour, black and white, colour and black and white mix as well as sepia. They really are amazing all my F & F say they have never seen anything like it.

Anyway whatever you decide hope it all works out
