Interval Aruba, Hawaii, & Utah Sitings (12-19-06)

Hi gang,

Checked Interval's website live just now and saw some interesting stuff out there for exchange:

Aruba:
Marriott's Aruba Surf Club - May 27-June 3, 2007 (studio)
Marriott's Aruba Surf Club - August 3-August 10, 2007 (studio)
Playa Linda Beach Club - January 10-January 17, 2007 (1 bedroom)

Hawaii:
Hanalei Bay (Kauai) - December 22-December 29, 2006 (1 bedroom)
Ke Nani Kai (Molokai) - December 30-January 6, 2007 (1 bedroom)

Utah:
Monarch Grand Vacations (Cedar Breaks Lodge) Jan 14-January 21, 2007 (studio). Also January 28-February 4, 2007 (studio) and a 1 bedroom for January 28-February 4, 2007

Thanks for posting those.

I hope Dean adds to this becasue I think it is a bit misleading to act like DVC members could just scoop those up.


Also: 4 out of the 8 you posted are studios. Right away, even if a DVC member got an exchange for all listed, 4 of the 8 would be downgrading significantly.

Ah, but you have to remember, these are just the "leftovers" not picked up by an ongoing search. You're always better off to put in a search.

Availability changes throughout the day. I have two different forums bookmarked that I watch for II sitings, besides searching myself online.

About a month ago, Hyatt Vacation Club dumped a bunch of weeks in II for Key West Florida. And some of those weeks were even for Easter week. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. They must save them up and dump them all at once. But if I see Hyatt do that again, I'll try to post what I see and maybe a DVC member can grab a fantastic Hyatt Vacation Club week.

Also, I saw quite a few Marriott Ocean Watch weeks (Marriott's new resort on Myrtle Beach) for October 2007 (fall break weeks for a lot of kids around the country). 2 bedrooms - woo hoo

Exactly. If you're flexible with your dates and give it some time, or can travel short notice, you've got a good chance to get something really nice.
