Is OKW wired for internet? My dh has a deadline that has come up during our vacation and wondering if he could log on to work if he had to, or is he going to have to dial up??? Thanks

All DVC resorts have internet access. You can use dial-up if you have that kind of number, or you can pay $9.95 every 24 hour period for high speed. We usually buy the high speed everyother day. We wont be doing that again though, because now DH has a high speed modem and access on his cell phone, so he just plugs his laptop into that and is good to go. I'm not so lucky, so I have to pay the fee!

Yep, still a fee. I think it is still $9.95 for a 24 hour period or there might be a lesser cost for an hour at a time.

Is that true for OKW? DVCMember.com says OKW doesn't have the hi-speed internet.

Yes, OKW definitely has broadband access in all villas. There is a network cable in the hall closet or housekeeping can bring one if that's mising. There is no wireless access at OKW. Cost is $9.95 per 24 hour period. Some have even connected a wireless modem to the netowrk cable and used their laptop out on the balcony.

All of the onsite resorts have broadband access and some also have some WiFi Hot spots - although most of the villas won't have the WiFi, all will have broadband.

HH and VB do not have high speed internet.

how can you get it every other day? do you just call up and ask for it when you want it? This sounds good, a little work, alot of play, a little work. or checking DIS a few times.
