Internet question -- rental stay at OKW

Hello, we are renting points for a stay at OKW, what is the internet situation for renters? (Daily charge, free, etc.) also is wifi available or just wired high speed internet? Thanks for your help!!

There's no wireless - there will be a cable in the closet to hook your laptop to the wall by the table. It'll be free if the room is booked with points - the system doesn't know you're not the member.

Though there's been reports of members staying on their own points getting a few Internet charges in error. If you're the member, no big deal, go to the front desk, show your DVC member card, and they'll remove the charge. If that happens to a renter, will they remove the charge?

If you would not mind paying, and do not mind a possible freebee, then hookup! If the cost would bother you and you'd prefer free dial-up, then stick to the dial-up or do not hookup.

If your landlord identifies you as a renter, you will be charged (assuming the reservation was set up correctly). If not, you are treated as a guest, and won't be.

So, you won't know for sure until you get there.

This is probably a dumb question, but how will I know, will it say on my room key?

Keep in mind that as a renter you are not entitled to free internet, no matter what your KTTW card may say on it.
