My family is going to the World for 18 days this summer. My husband owns his own software company, and is freaking about not working for 18 days. 6 of our nights are in concierge rooms, and I thought they MIGHT have internet access. Does anyone know if this is possible?

No, there are no computers with internet access in the concierge lounges. There are data ports in all the deluxe hotel rooms, though, so if you have a laptop you can log on to your heart's content. :)

Actually, there are data ports on the phone of every room I've stayed in at WDW, from Allstars to the AKL. We bring a laptop, swearing that we'll get some work done. Hardly ever happens! ;)

which resorts have a business center to use the computer there w/out having to take a laptop w/you to wdw. i know coronado springs has one, but any other resort?:p

Basically if there is a convention center there is a business center with Internet access. It's not free, and you can't load in any software. Basically you can log on to AOL as a guest if you ahve an AOL account, or use browser based access to any other service.

If you have an ISP that has a local Orlando number, it's easy to use your laptop to get on the Internet. Just remember that local calls cost 75 cents, so it's best to do as much as you can while you're connected, instead of disconnecting and then remembering you have to do one more thing.

If you don't have a dial up ISP, you can actually get Internet calling cards that allow you a certain amount of minutes. We got one the other day. I think it had 200 minutes for $20 or something like that. We have a cable modem at home, so we needed something else for traveling.

you don't even need to pay if you don't have an isp -- there are free isp's or if you'll be using less than 1000 hours, just use one of those free trial aol cd's. :D
