Interesting WWOHP article from Theme Park Insider

I think they did a great job but missed the mark with the intensity of the ride. They rethemed a coaster and added a kiddie coaster. For people who get motion sickness or hate coasters there are NO rides at the WWoHP for them. FJ needs a green and orange section like MS. I am a huge HP fan and plan on visiting the next time I am in Orlando but it maybe a long time for my return. Not much to draw me back but the food, butter beer and stuff to buy.

The train needed to be a ride not just a thing sitting in the park. That was a huge mistake. It could have been a great ride for the entire family.

ETA: I think anytime a new attraction is added to Central FL it is a good thing.

I thought it was a good article. Well thought out and interesting. Thanks for posting the link.

Yup. Very accurate. We see their point perpetrated on this board every day.

I consider myself hardcore Disney, and while I haven't seen WWOHP yet, I have great hopes that it will be fantastic! Seeing someone else have great success in the theme park arena makes me glad because I know Disney will try that much harder to stay on top. It helps make everyone better. Okay, not everyone. Our local amusement park is a dump and I wish anyone could do something about that. LOL.

I'm constantly amazed at the amount of bashing Disney's California Adventure takes and it IS a Disney park, yet it is constantly bashed by the biggest of fans. I just don't get it. So, they don't just take aim at US, they take aim at one of their own!

P.S. I do agree that it's a shame the Hogwarts express is not a train you can actually ride on.

Thanks for that DM...interesting read...and, I agree also.

actually, both coasters were already there...both were rethemed.

I don't believe there was any room to make the train a 'ride'....but, who knows what the future holds?
