Insurance coverage for rental cars

Thanks! I'd read our policy and couldn't find anything about coverage on the rental car replacing coverage on our car, but there has been so much confusion on other similar threads that I was beginning to doubt myself. The idea of the endorsement extending the coverage to a rental car makes a lot of sense.

I checked my current policy and I am paying $30/yr for OPCF27.

Our insurance covers rental cars. We take our pink slips with us.

By your pink slip, did you mean your insurance card?

Being a little "overreaching", we also bring a photocopy of our auto insurance policy, showing the coverage we have (pink slip shows we've bought some type of auto policy, but it doesn't show we have OPCF 27, or even who the listed drivers are on the policy). We've never been asked to show it, but we've also never been in an accident !
