We decided to use instacart for our next trip. We do not have such services in our area, we live in the middle of nowhere, so I have a couple of questions.

We are traveling at the end of August. How early do we need to schedule our delivery?

We can order from Publix specifically right? Do we order from the instacart app or the Publix website?

They will deliver beer and wine right?

Use the Instacart website. It will default to Publix. I try to schedule my delivery close to when I will arrive on site. The bell service will hold your items and keep the cold stuff refrigerated.

I know that. I meant if a wait to submit my order until the week before will I have trouble getting a delivery time or should I put my order in a month or 2 in advance?

I just did mine the night before we went in June.

I don't think you can order more than a week out.

Unless the store is Walmart there shouldn't be any problem doing it the day before. The Walmart here is awful and books up like 3 days in advance. Not sure about in FL.

I try to do it about five days out so I can get the date and time I want. I also order alcohol. You can get beer and wine or actual other alcohol from Total Wine or other places, also through Instacart. I know this since I do each trip. You need to be there to meet the driver that delivers the alcohol. The food and alcohol will be two different people.

Depending on what you want, you can order both food and alcohol at Publix in which case it will be in one order. If there is alcohol, however, as was pointed out, the order cannot be left at Bell Services... you must meet the shopper when the order is delivered to verify your ID.
