Instacart delivery time, requiring ID for alcohol?

Hello! We are having an instacart delivery made to our resort. We are including alcohol in our order. It says that we must show ID at the time of delivery. It is highly likely we will NOT be at the resort when the items are delivered. We are in our 30s - not trying to sneak beer Is there any way around this?

No. You need to be available to meet the delivery driver if your order contains alcohol.

We use instacart at home and I used it in wdw on our may 2018 trip. I got alcohol from the ABC store delivered, they left it with tha bell hop - we were tracking their delivery on the app because of it saying we needed to show ID but the delivery person got to bell services right before we did and she left it with them. We caught her on the way out and I asked if she was my delivery and she said yes. Our only problem was when we got our items which was to be 4 different wines she had gotten all different ones than we ordered without showing substition on our order and all 4 where very cheap cheap wines like stutter home. So to answer ours was delivered with no problem but our delivery person was a separate type of issue. FYI I called instacart and they made it right and had someone back out with the correct items about 2 hours later.

We did 2 instacarts while at WDW. The first time the driver would not leave alcohol because we were in the parks. The second time it was left with bell services. They are not supposed to leave it without checking an I'd, but it seems some drivers do leave it anyway. To be safe I would be there to sign or find a different way to purchase it.
