I know I have seen a post on this before... but search is not working for me tonight.

DD and I are headed to EPCOT for the day tomorrow - she has no school, I took the day off to spend with her...

I have decided I have to try Kaki Gori - and think it would be fun to try the treats of all the countries. We don't spend a lot of time in WS, and tomorrow that is what my plan is!

Tell me your favorites please!!!!!

Baklava in Morocco, waffles with strawberry jam from Norway, maple sugar candy from Canada

Churro in Mexico
School Bread in Norway (YUM)
Kaki Gori in Japan

We only made it halfway around last year so I'm planning on spending alot more time in WS in May. At the top of my list next time is the Fiesta Margarita!

Gelato in Italy, chocalate croissant in France Kaki Gori (tangerine) Japan and a pretzel in Germany

Okay - so we are back from our day at EPCOT. It was a very hot day - very hot days=not much appetitie.

We did however indulge in Kaki Gori - I had Melon and DD had rainbow. They are reallly large... next time we will split one - but I was absolutely loving the Melon!

I also brought home a piece of Baklava, and DD had a funnel cake.

We did drink lots of wonderful DASANI!

Thanks for the suggestions! I will keep them tucked away for the next visit!

Ditto on the maple sugar from Canada.

I was in the shop there, bought the maple sugar (the 100% maple one) and started giving samples of it to the kids of some parents who were there, all the while explaining how 100% pure maple is much healthier than sugar because your body process it differently.

Sugar hits your blood all at once, maple has to be digested and hits it slower, thereby not peaking your sugar in your blood as much which is benificial for all sorts of reasons.

And it melts in your mouth in a very decedent way.

The kids were very happy with the treat and the parents happy to learn of a more healthy candy for their kids... not healthy mind you but by far the lesser of two evils.

Sherry trifle from the UK. Yummy. :thumbsup2
Anything from the bakery at France and Norway.
Funnel cakes at the American pavillion.
