Inspired by this morning's breakfast --what do you like on your pancakes, waffles?

This morning we had french toast with real maple syrup -- not the fake stuff they sell in the supermarket, but pure maple syrup imported from Canada.

I like maple syrup on pancakes and french toast, but I prefer whipped cream and strawberries on my waffles.

I made blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberries and
real maple syrup. DH is sitting in his favorite chair wrapped
in a blanket reading this very minute.

or blueberry syrup...yum!

I moved from CA to NH for college and my boyfriend introduced me to real maple syrup. ever since I haven't been able to tolerate the fake stuff...just tastes gross to me now. we can buy the real stuff in the grocery stores here in upstate NY, as well as anywhere in New England that I have lived. yum yum yum.

I don't like pancakes, but I LOVE waffles with peanut butter and real maple syrup. My DH thinks the peanut butter is weird, but don't knock it until you've tried it.

Pancakes have to have butter and real maple syrup on them (hey I'm from NH, there's a never ending supply of the stuff).
Waffles need real maple syrup, strawberries and a big pile of whipped cream on them. YUM
