(Inspired by the pointy toed shoes thread) What size shoe do you wear?

I wear an 8 triple A with a 5 A heel. That's pretty narrow! I've never tried on the pointy toed shoes because I stand on my feet all day and wear sneakers and birkis.

So what is your shoe size?

I'm an 8M. I have a few pairs of pointy toe shoes, some so pointy I only wear them in NYC, because there anything goes. With them I got an 8 1/2 because there looong and narrow. They fit fine. Now that the really round toe shoes are coming out I got my regular size 8 and there very comfortable.

6 or 6 1/2 depending on type of shoe. And preferably no heels either.

I wear a size 5 1/2 to size 6 shoe! No pointy shoes for me, or no high healed shoes for that matter. I like to wear flats or tennis shoes!

I am about to show my age here, but:

WHY, WHY, WHY, would anyone want to wear the pointy toed shoes.

1. They make your feet look much larger.

2. Not very attractive, but maybe can be used to protect yourself

3. In about 10 years you will ask yourself, why because now you have problems with your feet. I know because I wore heels for years, and can no longer wear any heel without major pain. Have to wear flats or sneakers.

4. Notice the men do not wear shoes that cripple, even though originally the heel was for the men. They eventually saw the foolishness of them and gave them to us. HMMMM another means to dominate us. LOL

6W, no heels for me either.

My girls both like heels though, my 10yo DD is wearing about the same size as I do and my 12yo DD bought a 9 1/2 the other day. She has pretty narrow feet so I'm not looking forward to having to find shoes if her feet get much bigger. Somehow I don't thing we have much hope that she's done though.

7 1/2. Usually no heels but sometimes I do wear them.

5W to 5 1/2W. Heels only of they are not real high and are substantial heels. No pointy toed shoes. Can't really wear a flat because of how my ankle healed after I shattered ot and my leg.

I wear a 7-7.5 I will wear an 8 if they are slides and that's all they have. I love heels... I wear as high as I can find them

but honestly, no pointy toe shoes for me

Yay, I win! LOL! I wear a 10.5 or 11. No pointy toes or high heels here. If they're not comfy, they're not on my ever-so-large feet.

I wear a 9 or 9 1/2 depending on the shoe. I can't wear heels because of a knee problems so it's sneakers or flats for me.

I'm a size 9-9 1/2 depending on the shoes. Pointy toed shoes I'm a 9 1/2, other shoes I'm a 9 medium. The funny thing is I'm only 5'2" and people think I'm should be a size 6 or 7. When I tell them I'm a size 9 they're always suprised.

8 1/2 and I try to only wear heals when necessary for dressy dress or something because I am a total klutz

I used to wear a 5 1/2 or 6 before I had DS. Now, I wear a 6 1/2...my foot is wide, too, but usually I can find a style that will fit okay if it's not a wide shoe.
