Does anyone have a pic of kitchen sink? I thought I saw one before, I just can't remember where. Also, I know it is large, but how many can it "feed"?

I don't have a picture of it, but I have a link to a video of it at discovery.com...

http://media.travel.discovery.com/c.../videogallery.html?myClip=TRV_beachesandcream

Here's what's included in the kitchen sink:
Butterscotch, peanut butter, and hot fudge topping
2 scoops each of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry ice cream
1 scoop each of mint chocolate chip and coffee icecream
(btw, that's 8 scoops of icecream total)
Strawberry, Pineapple, and marshmallow topping
angel food cake and brownie
1 whole can of whipped cream
more brownie plus a whole banana, oreos, candy bar
finished off with cherrys and rainbow sprinkles!

I think we are going to try and tackle it with 3 people... but I'd think 4 might be more realistic!

Thanks for sharing the video. I remember seeing that on the Travel Channel!

We got to see someone order it and it's so neat but my family could never polish one down so I have to wait till we bring more family/friends with us someday!

Just keep reciting....Disney Desserts are NOT fattening!!!! Disney Desserts are NOT fattening!!!............ :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

Oh my goodness..Just watched the video of "The Kitchen Sink". We had heard it was huge, but, didn't think it was that huge!

We are wanting to try this on our trip in May, do you think that the 3 (adults) of us can eat all of this? Even if we can't, I think we'll have a marrrrvelous time trying.. WOW!

My approach is to think.... "I'll just go on a diet when I get back!" Of course, that didn't work well after my last trip. I did hold true to my word, I went on a diet... 2 weeks before my next Disney trip! :rotfl2: Just had to make room for more dessert.

BTW, in just over 24 hours I'll be trying some dessert at WCC. :teeth: :thumbsup2

(which reminds me, I need to charge the batteries for the digital camera and camcorder)....

We tried to conquer the Kitchen Sink on our last trip- 4 adults. We did a pretty darn good job, but I don't think that you could say we finished it.. there was still about a 1/4 inch of Kitchen Sink 'Soup' (everything all melted together) in the bottom of the bowl when we were done. We sure had fun trying though!

Oh my GOODNESS! These look wonderful and decadent. First stop...50's Prime Time. What to get for dessert? What a dilemma! Thanks for the video link, btw, we don't get the american travel network, so we miss all those good shows!

We have plans for the evening of June 7th for 6 adults and 1 child to tackle one.
All of us have wanted to try this for years!!!
(and no, we are not eating dinner first...if we have room, then we will have a late night snack before Illuminations).

Suprisingly, we didn't order many desserts on our trip. We did try the Kitchen Sink (which was NOT a good idea). There were 3 of us and none of us ever wanted to see ice cream again. We ended up using the bowls they gave us to scoop off a lot of the toppings just so we could get to the icecream. Even then, we still had a couple of scoops, plus the melted stuff, left.

We also ordered the Tiramisu at Citrcos, which was WONDERFUL. Our digital camera was messed up for the first couple of days and we weren't able to take any pics until the replacement arrived a few days later. I did get a pic of the kitchen sink and the tiramisu and will post them as soon as I get them cropped, and uploaded.

Forget the Dining plan--I want the dessert plan!! I too am basing my ADRs on desserts to a degree. When I thought the kids were going to come I was basing the ADRs almost solely on the kids dessert menu.

I do have a pic of the Kitchen Sink, but I don't know how to put it in here. When DH gets home, I will have him do it. We didn't have it, but a table near us did adn DH decided we should take a pic for such a thread as this!

Well, as promised... here is a pic of the Tiramisu from Citricos (it was YUMMY).

And here's DP getting ready to enjoy the kitchen sink... though it wasn't long before that enthusiasm was lost (just looking at that pic now makes our stomaches upset....)... alas... here it is:

Is that coconut snowball still available? I'm seeing ohana desserts here but all we got was the dumb banana stuff ... or a snowcone.
