Inspired by Pool Hopping Thread...Has anyone ever...

Have any of you ever just spent an afternoon pool hopping? We were planning on going to Typhoon Lagoon one day over our Labor Day weekend trip. But I'm afraid the crowds at the waterpark during the holiday weekend might be a bit much. Plus my younger DD can swim but won't do too many slides...she's a nervous nelly. Soooo....since we have a car I thought it might be fun to pool hop from OKW to maybe SSR and POR?! Have any of you spent the day visiting more than one resort pool? If so...was it worth it?

How do you actually pool hop anyway . Just show your DVC card when you enter the resort and explain that you want to use the pool?

Pool hopping is suspended from Sept 2-5 over the Labor Day Weekend.

Okey Dokey then...back to plan A. Thanks for the info though ...looks like we'll be among the crowds at Typhoon Lagoon . As a relatively "newbie" at DVC I'm learning as I go.

On the bright side, OKW has a beautiful pool area, recently upgraded. And from the counter service food area you can also order great sandwiches (or anything else) from Olivia's menu to enjoy at the picnic tables. We had a great day on our last trip!

Great question if someone knows the answer,how do you pool hop?If you arrive at hotel by bus do you have to show someone your card does anyone every ask?
