For me is to walk around the produce department and think I used to carry 6 bags of potatos around , in my body . That will derail me from any bad cravings I get, I never want to go back there.
First of all I never thought it would be possible for me to loose so much weight , but the ultimate for me was to go under the 200 lbs mark again, that in itself was an accomplishment!
I'm down to 192 lbs right now, the last 10-12 lbs I have to loose refuse to leave me unless I work them off , I'm ok with that, I'm almost 6' tall and I'mnot that far off from my ideal weight, I can deal with that.
So what makes you derail from your cravings?
Also this place has been a true help for me, I don't know if I would have done it without WISH.
 
Well when I started WW I didn't get too many cravings. However, as time went by (and I was losing more weight) I did start to get some cravings that were hard to ignore. For the most part just reminding myself that any time I felt like giving into a craving would mean that it would take longer to reach my goal was enough to prevent me from caving in. I also love my scheduled weekly cheats because those gave me something to look forward to so I could more easily dismiss cravings.

Now it's not so easy! :) I find I'm giving into eating out more than I did when I was losing. I still have another goal to reach, but it doesn't involve weight loss, just getting my body more in shape and having a super flat tummy. So I'm pretty good about sticking with my eating plan, but the weekends just seem to throw me for a loop lately! ;)
 
I was told if I had cravings to drink one of those small cans of V8 juice, and sure enough it works....I only had to do this once.

Couldn't believe it!
 

I think about everything I have already given up in the past month. Birthday parties, drinks out with the girls (except that one low carb beer:D )etc. I just get really mad at myself for even thinking of cheating. I get up and go stand on the scale. I make myself get on and off several times so the number really penetrates my brain, so I really have to see it. If I skipped all those other times when it would have been easy to cheat I'll be *darned* if I'm going to give in when I'm just sitting home wanting to snack!!
