Inspired by luvmydogs: What did you do after your prom?

Slept over at a friends house (me and my friends and dates shared a limo--my BF and the other 3 guys didn't stay! :teeth: ) then we all went to Cedar Point the next day.

We went to a party at a classmate’s house, then out to breakfast, and then back to my house. My date spent the night at my house, but we weren’t together – he was in the basement; I was upstairs. BTW, he was younger than me and didn’t have a driver’s license, so I did all the driving.

I am not asking for any censorable details here!!!

Well ummmm.......then there's not much left to tell. We did have a wedding a couple of years later though, so at least he made an honest woman out of me. ;)

Let's just say, our kids ever try anything like that, we'll MURDER them!

I went with a huge group to our school sponsored after prom party. It was pretty fun, but I was exhausted!

A big group of us got two connecting hotel rooms. We also went our school's stadium to watch the sun rise (tradition).

Mermaid....you chicken!;) Suffice to say that Mermaid, myself and our dates had tons of fun! It was a night I'll never forget....or at least cherish the parts I remember...

Cam I know Kelly's and actually I am surprised by the number of people I have met that know it too even though they were not raised in MA. I go everytime I am home but usually to the one on Rt. 1 in Saugus now since it is Dec. and very cold at the beach.

As for after my prom many many years ago, a group of us were starving (since the food was so good at the prom...note read previous few words with heavy sarcasm), so we headed off in search of food and somehow ended up at a Ground Round in the Prudential Center (its no longer there). We all ordered food, danced on the dance floor (they had a DJ that was just loving us) and dragging other diners out of their seats to make it "their" prom night too. We were the hit of the place. We ended up staying there til closing eating popcorn, singing, dancing, talking with all the patrons etc. The manager told us it was one of his best night and that the staff was just so happy we were there. We were crazy and having the time of our lives and everyone got caught up in it. After we closed that place, we did end up at the beach for a few hours hours and then at about 6am we all headed to the howard johnsons (the resturant not hotel) at Wellington Circle in Medford (also no longer in business) and had breakfast...then we all went home to crash.

I LOVE this question!!!!

I had the BEST time at my Jr. Prom!!!!! This was way back in 1978 but a group of us went bowling after the prom!!! It was a blast!!!! Imagine a bunch of girls in their prom dresses and bowling shoes!!! Also most of us were cold at the wee hours of the morning so we also had our dates tux jackets on!!! It really was fun though!!! I think we went to IHOP after we finished bowling. I am not real clear on that part but I will ALWAYS remember the bowling part!! The place was full of drunks and WE were the ones that stood out!!!

Sr prom was a different story. Date (now DH) had a bad knee so I had to drive and he got D-R-U-N-K at the prom and it took four guys to pour him into the car and I then spent the rest of the night driving him home and stopping every couple of miles for him to puke. I will always remember THAT night also but those were not fond memories.

Our prom was at the beach in Galveston--a bunch of us stayed at hotels and continued the party til the next morning. Am I going to my boys stay out all night on prom?? Most definately not!

I don't remember doing anything special after my junior prom, I probably had a midnight curfew that time...but my senior prom...well....it was more than 27 years ago but I do still remember THAT one!!! My prom and my boyfriend's prom (he has been my DH for 27 years now) were on the SAME night, so we went to mine first, the theme was "Stairway to Heaven" and everytime I hear that song on the radio I have to smile....then we went to his prom too...and AFTER the prom.....well, back then kids didn't go to hotels or anything, so we just went parking in his Chevy Laguna (he still wishes he had that car back!) and let's just say I had to make sure my dress wasn't on backwards when I walked into my house after he brought me home....;)
