Ok, so many say that going to a church wedding uninvited is not wrong...how about forcefully joining in a wedding that is held in a public place? (I am not talking about watching from afar)
The other thread reminded me of my DDs diving coach's wedding 2 years ago that was held in a public park at a gazebo by a pond. It is a public place but one woman (in sweatpants and a furry jacket) came right behind the minister and watched the entire ceremony, it really took away from the ambience, to be honest. It would have been one thing if she stood far enough away to be unnoticed, but she was literally 2 feet from the back of the minster. She didn't just stand there either, she moved backand forthto get a good look at everyone in the wedding party, the candle lighting and vows, etc. She was in the way of the photographer the entire time and it was really a distraction.
Unfortunately, she was not the only one who felt the need to 'crash' the wedding, people with dogs on leashes stood in front of wedding guests (blocking their view) etc.. it was unbelievable how rude some people were. (btw, we were all dressed up, it was obvious who was a guest)
I understand it was a public place, but it was obviously an intimate moment, you would think people would try to remain in the background.
Anyone else experience anything similar?
