What amount of suitcases are you allowed to bring on the DISNEY cruise?

I don't think DH and I will over pack too much but how many suitcases are you allowed to have? We were hoping to bring a case of bottle water on board but I also need my clothes...

Thanks

DCL gives you 2 luggage tags in the documents and you are allowed to have a carryon each as long as it fits through the xray machine. They never said how big the luggage could be so we used the biggest suitcases available. Also, the water onboard is great. We bring beer and soda and bottles that can be refilled with the water onboard.

Being a charter member of the Overpackers Club (I am bad even when I try to be good) I have never had a problem getting our beer/pop and clothes on board - and we usually send our beverages through with the porters and don't carry it on. I take a few bottles of water and refill them - the water on the ship is good IMHO anyway.

Happy cruising!

Water would need to be carried on, you would not be able to just check a case of water, so it would be tough to carry that around

With those "biggest suitcases you can find," just remember that you might not be able to store them in your stateroom the way you'd like. My monster suitcase - which I love - wouldn't fit under the bed, so I had to work my way around it for seven days.

The last time we went, we are didn't do a Land/Sea but we did go to WDW first and had DCL transfers.

We had received two luggage tags per, but when we were checking in at WDW they asked us if we needed more and we said sure. They handed us a stack of them. We did end up checking 5 bags for two of us with no problem. We ended up checking a rollerboard that we had intended to carry on. We had not planned on it, but since they handed us the tags, we figured it was easier.

But as has been pointed out, remember you have to live with your suitcases for the cruise, They will take up precious space in your stateroom. So consider that when selecting luggage and determining how much to bring.
