Inspired by Dan's "10 years ago.." thread......Anyone remember Webmaster Adam?

Wow, I've been enticed out of lurking twice in one day!

I remember Adam, Pete's right-hand man. I recognize a lot of names here, but I remember CC best because of her incredible kindness to me. My husband and I were planning a trip to her neck of the woods and she mailed me a huge packet of info on the area and was so helpful in planning our trip! I have a feeling there have been plenty of others who have been beneficiaries of her thoughtfulness.....

Also, I kept in touch with Jackie-Nova Scotia for a while after she left the board, and last I heard she and her husband were divorcing.

Being an oldie but goodie here on the Dis, i do remember Adam. I never met him in person , but I have met Joe. Its sooo cool he will be in Adams wedding! And that you are attending it CC, take pics for us please!

Yes, I remember Adam too. It's amazing to think how these boards have grown since their inception. It's great that he's getting married. I wish him and his fiance all the luck in the world.

LOL, I remember w-a-a-a-a-y back when Adam would post from school, and I'd scold him to get back to studying! On one of the days that RnR was open to AP passholders, we were lucky enough to meet Adam and Cathy (and Vicki, I think) in line.

Oh, and I remember your post on the day that you met Adam, Cathy. Timmy's??

even thow I'm a newbie to the DIS and don't know anyone yet I felt compeled to reply on this. You managed to bring back some special memeories for me.
My wife and I were married on May 18th [29 years ago] and as great as that was, and has been, we then got on a plane and went to WDW for our honeymoon. This was when there was only one park so you have to forgive us if we still refer to the Magic Kingdom as Disney World. Sea World had just opened [about 1/3 it's current size]. There was a wax museum called The Movie Star's Hall of Fame and The Ski show at Cypress Gardens had only 1 grandstand and 6 performers. Great Memories!!!!!!!!!!!
