Inspired by Dan's "10 years ago.." thread......Anyone remember Webmaster Adam?

Adam was on the DIS before I was and was the first Assistant Webmaster that Pete had. He moderated the Universal, Trivia and Rumors/News boards before his final years of University took up too much of his time.

When I saw Dan's thread about how we would not have had the chance to "know" each other 10 years ago, it made me think of how special some of the relationships that we have formed with other DISers, really is. On the weekend, I attended a party to celebrate Adam's upcoming marriage to a sweet girl from NH. Zarr was also there because he is in the wedding party! How cool is that? These guys became such wonderful friends, travelled together extensively and now Joe is standing up for Adam at his wedding. That alone makes me smile. Seeing how elated Adam is makes me smile even more.

Best of luck to Adam and his bride-to-be Jodee. I'm doing a road trip May 18th to attend their wedding in NH.

Without the DIS, we would never have met.

You mean The Hook is going to be there??? I wonder if the wedding is going to turn out another murder mystery, LOL.
Isn't the internet a great thing?? I know I have made a lot of good friends that otherwise I don't think I would have ever met, but it also has given me the opportunity to be in touch with my family daily without costing me a fortune. Take anything you want away from me, but don't touch my computer and internet service!

I have the same memories of Adam as you do, CC since we both came "on board" about the same time.

I have memories of Adam and Joe aka Zarr in my chatting days and wanting to hook either of them up with my oldest DD, Michelle.

Dan, Tiffany is working on a cruise ship and was in children's programming, (no surprise there!) and is now a manager of Entertainment (I think?). Haven't heard from her since last summer.

I too remember Adam. Memories of many people that came and went through these boards. CC - Were you around when Jackie of Nova Scotia was on? I am curious about her whereabouts now.

Adam is a great guy, and I wish him and Jodee the best in their upcoming wedding! I met Adam over Memorial Day weekend in 2000. We had a great dinner at 1900 Park Fare to celebrate his birthday - his 21st, if I remember correctly. What a great weekend that was!

Ellen, oh yeah, I remember Wackie Nova Scotia. She came on just after I did. I have no idea where or what she is doing now.

Olga, I will have to remind Joe about the "Hook" at the wedding.

CC, don't you remember the "sideways" DCL video that Adam filmed? Pete was gracious (?) enough to show us that video the day after Adam's birthday dinner. If I recall, we have some footage of Bob (Wilderness) among others dancing.

Yes, Donna, that was Adam! He has been to DLP a few times since then, he studied in England at the University of Bath for his last semester and it was too close for him NOT to go back to DLP!

Ah, yes, Debi, the video that showed that our wilderness is dyslexic during his performance of MACY, or should that have been YMCA?
