Inspired by Chattyaholic: Who makes the best pizza?

So who is the best? Personally, I can't stand a pizza that's been cooked on a conveyor belt. We have a small italian restaurant/bar near us that makes great NY style pizza in a real pizza oven. Its great. But in my book, nothing beats the Chicago Style Deep Dish served at Pizza Papalis in Detroit's Greektown. Its the best in the world!!!

So place your vote here. Who is the best?

Local pizza -- at a couple different family-owned restaurants we go to. Nothing beats a hand-made pizza from a family-owned, hole-in-the-wall local pizza joint!

Other than that, I'd have to say the best pizza I had was Chicago Deep Dish from (where else?) Gino's in Chicago.

The best pizza I know of is from Maruca's on the Boardwalk in Seaside Park, New Jersey. (Yes, at the Jersey shore--one of the many reasons I love the place. )

Best pizza is at Frank's Pizza in Warwick, NY.

Second place goes to La Tonda in Italy.

Best pizza is Rays Pizza in NYC. While I do enjoy the pizza down the shore when I get down there, that's only in the summer. It gets too cold real quick, so I don't make the trip down unless it's the really hot summer months.

Whenever I get into NYC there area a few things I must do and one is have a slice of Rays Famous Pizza.

Chicago has great pizza as well.
