HOG HEAD CHEESE
1 lg. hog head
1 1/2 tbsp. salt
Dash of red pepper
Dash of black pepper
1 onion
1 c. vinegar
Clean hog head by removing eyes, ears and brains.
Saw into 4 pieces.
Put in large pot and boil until tender.
Remove meat from broth.
Pick out bones and cook onion until done in broth.
Dip out onion and run meat and onion through food chopper.
Mix in peppers, vinegar and salt, put in cheese cloth or (leg of panty hose works real well), hang, let drip overnight.

My DD is yelling Chinese food. I don't know what is wrong with her must have spent too much time on her head in the womb. Jeez I hope I can say womb, cause I know we can't use the "v" word.

Of stuff I have eaten I would have to say mushrooms, chick peas and lima beans. Some things I don't think I would have the guts to try.

I can't stand seeing pig's feet in the grocery store. There's something called liver cheese by the lunch meat. I don't even want to know what that is.

Escargot must be served with the shells off. The ones still in the shells are just a little too close to the way they are in nature. IMHO, that's like serving chicken with the feathers still on.

I just remembered a show I saw on TV a while back - somewhere in Asia (I think), they serve up a yummy bowl of...are you ready for this?...snake urine soup.

They actually had footage of a bunch of guys slurping it up at a lunch counter.
