As we had been out with friends the evening before, we decided to sleep in a bit this morning then headed off to the Magic Kingdom …

We arrived at the TTC and parked our car then headed for the ferryboat - we always love taking the boat over from the TTC…

I always have to take a picture of the MNSSHP decorates at the entrance …

Once we entered the park, we headed over to the Main Street Bakery for some breakfast.

I should mention that because of our many trips to the World, we have tons of pictures … so this trip we decided to try and take pictures that weren’t your normal WDW touristy pics … this is the result. If there are any you can’t place, just ask …

About this time, we had walked around the park for a few hours and our tummies were starting to rumble, so headed over to Casey’s for a hot dog.

Of course we had company …

After filling our tummies, we decided to make our way out of the park …

… and headed to Downtown Disney for the remainder of the evening …

On our previous trip in May, they were still doing construction on the new T-Rex restaurant. I believe the night we took these pics, it had just opened a few days earlier …

After browsing the stores (and of course stopping for our sample at Ghirardelli) we headed back to the resort …

Up next, Animal Kingdom and our anniversary dinner at Boma.

I am one of the biggest lurkers of them all but I wanted to post to compliment you on your photos. These are honestly some of the best photos I have seen on this forum, and it gets tiring seeing people asking "what type of camera" do you use, when the camera really in the end doesn't matter that much, its the person on the other end. (I have seen really wonderful shots taken with a point and shoot, and really bad photos taken with a Nikon/Canon SLR!)

You have a wonderful gift for composition, balance, color and contrast, and I look forward to seeing more!

BTW happy belated anniversary, my husband and I also celebrate our anniversary every year at Disney! There is no better anniversary gift.

No we didn't notice many, if any, love bugs - there seem to be more in May then when we go than in October.

After getting up fairly early and lollygagging around getting ready, we were finally headed off to Animal Kingdom.

I should mention that Animal Kingdom is a favorite of both of ours for taking pictures … so rather than being too wordy, I'll let our pictures speak for themselves ...

About this time, we had decided to stop for a bite to eat since we hadn’t eaten breakfast … we headed over to the Yak & Yeti take out place (sorry I can’t remember the name right now) and grabbed a seat to eat and rest a bit

After lunch, we continued on our trek …

By now it was getting to be late afternoon, so we decided to head on over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our 5:15 pm ADR …

Arriving at AKL, we had a bit of time before our ADR, we decided to relax in the resort lobby …

At around 5:00 pm, we made our way down to Boma …

We checked in, were given a beeper thingy and sat down to wait … for a total of maybe 2 minutes … LOL. We were shown to our table and given a nice Anniversary card from the staff …

After stuffing ourselves silly (we thoroughly enjoy the food there) … our server brought us a little Anniversary gift …

As it was still early and we had eaten way to much, we decided to take a drive over to Downtown Disney and walk off some of our dinner. While we love the way the parks are decorated for Halloween, we can’t help but also enjoy the little touches in the shops as well …

We finally headed back to the resort … It was a nice ending to a great day

After another lazy morning, we headed off to DHS where we had a noon ADR for the Brown Derby. Arriving at the park, we meandered a bit taking yet more pics …

If there is one thing we learned in our many trips to WDW … it’s look up …

After wandering around the park for a few hours, we decided to head over to The Brown Derby … we had eaten dinner there previously and were anxious to try their lunch menu

We weren’t disappointed and left satisfied and with full tummies once again. Off to take more pics …

While it was still early in the afternoon, we decided to head back to the resort for a couple hours before heading off to the Magic Kingdom and MNSSHP …

I somehow missed your AK post, so tonite I ended up with an extra installment. Awesome photos as usual!!!

How lucky the two of you are to be able to travel with each other, both being like-minded in enjoying the relaxing pace of stopping throughout the Parks to take so many great photos. I can just imagine my family allowing me the luxury - not! LOL

Can't wait for more. I love seeing the Parks from your unqiue and awesome photos!

If you remember from earlier in our TP, we had changed our dates for the MNSSHP and decided to go this evening instead …

We arrived at the park around 5 pm …

After riding a few of our favorite rides (Haunted Mansion, Pirates and TTA), we headed over to Cosmic Rays for a bite to eat while the first parade was on. We then decided to head off to take some night pics …

On our journey, we ran into these two …

Next up were the fireworks … unfortunately we were on the treat trail between Toontown and Tomorrowland, but did manage to capture a couple handheld pics …

After gathering our treats on the trail, we headed back over to the Haunted Mansion …

After our encounter at the Haunted Mansion, we started making our way back to Main Street …

As the crowds were starting to make their way out of the park, we grabbed a seat by Casey’s and waited until the crowds thinned somewhat … and after a while, we decided to make our way out of the park too …

On our way out we stopped to take these …

… then it was finally off to the Monorail …

And to the parking lot to find our car …
