I heard the cutest wedding idea today that if Brent will ever marry me I am totally going to do. For table assignments you use pictures along with the table number. So for table #1 you use pics of the bride and groom from when they were 1 years old. Table #2 pics of them at 2 years old and so on....

I love the photo booth thing, too!

well, you can tell Brent we actually do not watch sports, BUT we are honorary Steelers fans, as it is Jophias fav team, and Kaylas bbf's favorite team. However, Bobs dadyo is a HUGE Giants fan, so when there, we are honorary Giants fans lol

I have to admit I lol'd a little at the fighting posts because they sounded just like me and BF on our last trip. After driving down and spending every minute together for the week there was a point where we had a ridiculous tiff over nothing at Epcot. ("Why are you being snippy with me?" "I'm not, you were being snippy with me?" "Oh okay then. Come get in line to meet Belle.") We are both incredibly stubborn lol.

I must say I liked the fighting posts...not that I liked you were fighting, but EVERY trip DH and I fight so it was nice to see others aren't always happy at the happiest place on earth! So many TR are all butterflies and glitter, but i like that your was real!!!

well, then I am glad I posted it! I struggled with whether I should or not, as I didn't want Bob upset with me or to think I hated him lol. HE does NOT remember the fighting like I do. I said , well it happened, cause I wrote in my joural every night LOLOLOLOLOL. Glad he just remembers 100% fun. Glad OTHER people fight, because honestly, I recall thinking, *** is wrong with us...maybe it IS because everyone on here just posts the good stuff~! The disboards CAN make you feel like a bad diser easily!

I'm glad you liked it! I ALWAYS wanted one, as i have a ton of photo booth photos with me and every friend and my kids throughout the years, it's always been something I love! bobs cousin had one at his wedding last year and hardly anyone used it! So, I want to make sure ours gets used!

Hey hey hey! Happy Saturday to you guys! Today is a much needed rest day for me..not that I'll actually get to rest too much, but at least I have no work! Well, dog walking work, I still have a TON of housework! Oh, and kids.. lol! I'm not complaining, poor Bob has a 16 hour double today, with an hour drive there and and hour drive back! He's a better person than me! 18 hours in one day, no thanks!

But hey, you didn't sign on to read about our jobs, you want wedding deets!

So here is the low down, I wanted peonies, ranunculus, and big floral of that nature. NOT happening! January is not the time to get married if you like flowers lol or you are independently wealthy! SO, I'm going to have to compromise!

Luckily for me, Hydrangeas are one of my favorite flowers, and they aren't outrageously priced for January.


As you know, my wedding colors are black, gray and purple.. but very subtle. The floral is the main source of purple. I was a bit heart broken not to be able to get the flowers I really wanted, but I think the initial mock up was a good compromise.

Keep in mind, this was the first mock up we did with the florist (btw, we are using SHOPRITE LOL)

and here is how that will look with our center pieces (as of now, expect changes lol)

So, that is our center pieces, I want more white (hilarious if you know me!) and the names wont be on there, we have more to add.

As for my Bouquet, no clue! NONE! I have a couple pics, that I am going to share with you, but my heart isn't set on any of it.

I think my favorite is this one, as I don't want a big monstrosity of a bouquet... but again, I feel as if something is missing...

So, you get the idea? I like flowers with character, fuzzy, big,spiky,long,textured, etc.

Ugh.... I can't decide n cake.. I haven't even set up the appointment! Is it weird that I could care less about the cake?

Actually, if I were to be honest, I could care less about most of the details.

Food is yummy, family is great, and I want pictures. All I care about is, that my family has fun, is fed, and that we get some great picture memories! The idea on spending money on floral, cake, and favors is ridiculous to me, but it's tradition, and I get that.

But since I've never dreamt of these things, I have had a harder time communicating what I may want.

I've found some cakes I like, but I'm not dead set on anything. and I only like bits and pieces of each one lol

This first one is my favorite idea, and the one I hope the cake shop can do (cake is included with our wedding package, so I'm not sure how choosy I get to be :/ )

I also like this, although, clearly not big enough

Other options I like

Like I said, my ideal choice would be a small cake to cut, and cupcakes, cause if you know me, you know I love to bake cupcakes!

Again, any input or ideas or pics you come across that remind you of me, post!!!!

Now, I just need to find that three tiered would round thingy in the first pic. I have the wood rounds, I think Bob or his mum are going to try and make a few!
