I left you off with a less than stellar update.. and I apologize, and thank you for all your support.. I wrote it in last post, but love saying it so i'll post it again

80 days til I say I do!!

Speaking of I do, you can't walk down the aisle in an ill fitted dress, so on Sunday, the day after my shower, my mom, sister and I headed to Davids Bridal for our dress fittings!

Good news, my dress still fit fine! I swore I gained a bunch of weight! If I did, it's somewhere that doesn't affect my dress! So thank you jesus! With that said, my dress needed quite a few alterations! Apparently my dress was much too long.. It didn't seem so, but then she pinned it and I walked way less ridiculous lol! It also needed to be bustled, and taken in at the chest...

End result.... $288.. plus a corset to keep me thin underneath coming to a grand total of $378.00 About $100 more than I wanted to spend...

Here are the pics my sister took, and can I add, it was so nice having my baby sister there. She was such (and still is..) a hormonal raging B her whole pregnancy that she just ruined many things for me, and it felt nice to share this with her. It felt for a second like we were a normal family, and I liked that feeling! I can't wait for Kayla's big day! I'm going to make such a fuss over her!

and to prove this all happened, pics of me... I hate my veil.. and odn't mind how awful I look... I think once the big day arrives, and my hair, and make is done, I'll look less haggard and tired and more alive and glowy

So there you have the updated version.. I get the dress back December 7.. I hope all goes right! I asked for the left over scraps to use for shadow box frame!

and now, because I enjoyed having her here so much and because besides my own children, she is the most beautiful thing I have laid eyes on, I preent baby Avarie!

Did you just die a little? I did! and man am I going through baby withdrawal!

In other news, Bob was cleaning and found my bag o' Disney stuff I left laying around. In it were our lanyards, receipts, maps, silly stuff, and 40 trading pins! So holla at the kids having pins to go with and me saving money! I've already started putting certain clothes away as well and started my Disney bin... I need Jen (fantasylandmom) to give me even more tips on that though! I thought I was good, but shes really good!

OK yall, I am sleepy! Life got back on track today after Sandy, and I forgot how early I get tired when I have 6:45 am wake up!

I am sorry the shower wasn't what you expected and that you didn't get time to visit with your guests...it's so hard at showers to be able to visit. The gifts I could see are lovely, and I like that "grammy" got you a negilee.

No, I know how that goes. There is some stuff you feel ok about posting one place and not the other and vice-versa. I post a lot more personal stuff on my October 2011 FB group than I do on my regular page. Online friends can just be more understanding sometimes I think.
yeah.. I mean all the bridal party is on FB.. so i can't very well say, oh yeah it was meh lol bu yeah, you guys don't know my past, you don't judge, you listen, you help me work through it.. it's relieving!
Oh, and I love the cookie jar! I think I'd use it for a change jar for Disney savings

The lightening is there to help the seamstresses see so it isn't going to make you feel great because it is hyper crazy bright and you still look lovely...

I'm a few updates behind...I'm so sorry to hear you had to ask your friend to step down from being a bridesmaid. I totally get it...the best way to loose a friendship is to be in their wedding or they are in yours...been there....it really hurts. I hope she still attends the wedding???

DOn't let others take over...if need be, pull the "Well, I'm the bride and this is what *I* want" card...and if that doesn't work, start the waterworks! IF that doesn't work, plan your own, invite other friends and tell them this is what you are doing!

I HATE feeling rushed at showers, both my baby shower felt rush, by brodal shower (in that order!) felt even more rushed. I think it's the way it is supposed to be...lord knows why! When my 2 BF offered to throw a shower for my last baby (since there was such an age difference) I requested it be someplace we could take our time (it was my only request)...so my church has a rec hall that we used (for FREE) and they did the decorations and food. SO much more relaxed!

I have two birds holding a banner that says Kayla. it is on my chest. at the time, it was just her.

then on my arms, I have all traditional american sailor tattoos. I LOVE old school tattoos and obsessed with stars. I have a momma mermaid holding merbaby sitting on an anchor with a banner that says jack

on the back of my arm I have a heart that says mom.. it represents myself and my momma

I have the marine bull dog and it says dad..my dad was a marine.. i did it to be fair, plus my dad has the same tattoo, that he got while in service during the vietnam war.. it was the first tattoo i had ever seen, and knew then i wanted them!

on the inside of my arm is a pirate ship, cause i love PIRATES and it is one of my favorite pieces

then the rest are beautiful hand drawn cherry blossoms and roses, and LOTS of filler stars, a $ sign that represents my sister, some cherries and did i mention stars??

on my right arm i have an angel statue holding a fallen soldier, it was off an album cover and i loved it.. i do regret it though.

on the back of that arm I have a sugar skull.. because i love sugar skulls! the rest of this arm will be taken up with disney and video game stuff...idk when lol

Then on each wrist I have blue nautical stars..they were my first tattoos, and I got them on my 21st birthday! I love them! Stars are my favorite

That was my request as well, i said nothing fancy, a brunch, or food made by everyone.. and i got a fancy place with sit down lunch. It was VERY thoughtful, just too much thought, they shoulda just thrown a easy going party! Ugh.. again, I feel like a big meanie!

Hi guys!~ How is everyone out there doing? I'm still trying to get back on schedule after that B Sandy! Luckily this week is more back to normal than last!

I dont have much to update you on, other than to say and I think I already did say, that the invites have been delivered to me by my friend who designed them! To make it even better, NO CHARGE! She designed and paid for all the printing as our wedding gift! I cried. That seriously saved us so much loot!

I did not pick envelopes with her, so I ordered some online to keep with the whole rustic theme and plan on spiffying it all up somehow..

Yesterday, Bobs sis came up and they worked on some of the name place cards for the wedding.. no pics yet though! Sorry!

So while it may not seem like much, this is the most progress we have made in a while! Oh, I even wrote 11 of the 20 million thank you notes for the bridal shower! I have awful handwriting.. I hope people can read them lol

In Disney news, I am still trying to come up with a new plan for our days together.... We are def doing Epcot on our first day, but I'm not sure about the mix up of the 2nd day... I'm thinking DHS first, then MK, then we will do our Cali Grill ADR... but now that means dropping CRT breakfast and either doing a lunch or breakfast elsewhere... and I just don't know where to go!

I'm kind of in a fog tonight and half heatedly writing.. i want to say more, but I'm tired, and really feeling a lack of creativity in the writing department...but yall are so sweet and I know I hate when people don't update their PTR's! So something is better than nothing?

Also, I am beyond excited for my trip.. but haven't done a thing really, and honestly I haven't felt a mood to do so.. which is crazy, I'm usually much more organized than this....

Dangit.. now I feel down or something! I think something is in the air here today!

Jen, I've been feeling it too...I think it's the fact that winter is fast approaching (it was 70 here yesterday and 37 today...feeling like 28....brrrr). I did three updates on my TR today and I really had to force myself to do it.

(Please do not put me in that position...I do not want to be a stalker...) just check in once every once in a while so we know you are OK...

Don't feel like you have to entertain anyone... you have a lot on your plate... it's ok to just come out for support sometimes... I'm a big believer in there being a time to give and share... and sometimes you just need to allow yourself to take a bit... of time, of support... whatever it is you need....

Take care of yourself and your babies... TRY to eat and sleep the best you can... and just be aware/ on the look out for Seasonal Affective Disorder... ( It's real and its a B...)

Btw I did follow your links and I think your whole wedding style is great and I can't wait to see the photos when everything is pulled together...
