Hi sue929,

I had an Intimate Wedding at WDW om Sept. 29, 2003. I don't know what kind of info you are looking for but I would highly recommend a wedding through FTW. My day was perfect and I couldn't have been happier with our service or our selections for photographer, videographer.

Please let me know what kind of info you are looking for :)

I had Randy Chapman & STVS.................they were great!!!
Plus they were reasonabley priced for Intimate Weddings :)

I have been speaking to STVS about our videography.

We currently have the add on package for our intimate wedding as we had annual passes and accommodation sorted already and they give you 2 hours of photography, did you have that or did you opt out of it??

D_T, How and Where do I start? I want to start planning but I really don't know what to do first. I spoke w/a representative but I want to ask something who has recently had a wdw wedding to help me out on what and when I should be doing things.

Sue,
The first step is to decide how many days you want to stay at Disney. Book your hotel room first. Disney will not hold your wedding date or location until they know that you have a reservation at one of their resorts. If you want to stay the amount of days that Disney offers you can choose to book your wedding and accomodations all at one time.
Actually, the first thing you should do is decide the location where you want your ceremony to take place. Remember to look at the pros and cons for each location. As soon as you reserve your time and place choose an officiant right away as they get booked fast. Congrats on your wedding! Keep your planning questions coming. We all on here just love helping out and giving our two cents! lol.

Do you know where I can get a package deal? If the price is right we would like to come down two days before the wedding(?) and stay for ten days total. I am trying to find out some packages but seeing that this is the first time leaving my home state, IL. I am not to sure on where to start.

To get started on seeing what Disney has to offer I would call Disney Weddings at (407) 828-3400 and ask for some information. Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding offices are open Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 6:00pm. They will send you a packet of information along with a video to show you some options that you can choose from. Do you have a wedding date in mind?? Your wedding kind of comes in a package, we had an Intimate wedding on a Monday but flew down to Disney the Saturday before so we some time to have fun at the parks before the wedding!! Also I would visit:

http://disneyweddings.disney.go.com/disneyworldweddings/dwwhHomePage

and

http://www.yourfairytale.com/start.html

There is a TON of info on these 2 sites that will help you begin.
I would say one of the first things you need is a wedding month or date :teeth:

Thank you. You guys are the best.....I am so happy I found this website.

Start with FTW and ask about their packages. You might do better by checking for discounts and doing the add-on package. We spent a week total there for the wedding/honeymoon. I used Randy Chapman for the wedding and Disney for the MK session the morning after the wedding. I'm still waiting for my pictures to arrive.
