On our last cruise, we had the most incredibly awesome servers and would like to try to have them as our servers on the next cruise. Anyone know how the request process works?

You can request it once you are on board. I have read about others doing this once they board. They see if those servers are onboard and then request to have them.

You (or your TA if you used one) can request it before you board. You will get a speech about how they can't promise, cast member vacations, etc. Just ignore it. Then, after you board, you go to "Dining changes" and ask to be changed to your favorite server IF you didn't get the assignment you wanted. Of course, if you have a large party, that can be a problem.....

We, too, have a favorite server. Using this 2 pronged approach, we can get him when he is on board. We cruised once while he was on leave....really made me appreciate him!

This is great to know! We have stayed in touch via email with our assistant waiter from 2003. She just emailed tonight and said she just got on the Wonder and we're going next year. How does that work with assistant waiters/waitresses? While I'm at it... will we be at our own table (me, DH, DD4, DD2? Our last cruise, we had grandma and grandpa, nephew and sister with us so we didn't pay attention to how others were situated.
