Information on stitch hat

Hi, I was on VMK during the everest ride weekend and went into one of the major rides and found a CL Leader with a stitch hat on and all of the information that is now needed. I have photos and information that is here on this thread:
The hat is only available when you book a DISNEYLAND Vacation and theme tickets through the Disney Travel Company. I asked two community leaders and they both gave the same information and that I did ask the Disney Travel Company and that is the only way so far. Also, found out that a seperate Hat For Walt Disney World is in the works. So stay tuned! This is a little bit upsetting since I am going to Disney World In May and was hoping to get a stitch hat but will have to wait on what they are going to do for the hat. But the CL said that it will have something to do with the animal kingdom. So stay tuned. My VMK name is DudeTommyBoy. So if you are on VMK give me a hollar. Thanks Again Tom

I was on the phone with Disney Travel this morning. You can get the stitch items from booking a package either on the web site or with them on the phone.

Here is the bad part.

Even though you book and PAY for a package you still don't get the stitch stuff until you get the Fex Ex package with all of your trip documents ABOUT 21 DAYS BEFORE YOUR TRIP. You can book today but you still don't get the hat. The only way to get the cards (yes we get actual quest cards) is to pay a 25.00 fee to have the documents rushed to you and I was told the earliest it could be done for my May vacation is April.

So anyone not traveling right away won't be getting the hat.

She even went to see if she could give me the codes over the phone and not send the cards in my package. She was told no the only way to get them is in the package document.

I forgot to ask her if you get a set of cards per reservation or per person.

More details...anyone that already has a trip booked is getting the cards in their documents so if you are traveling any time from about 21 days from now you will get the cards. She said that the first batch with the cards went out two days ago.

Hmmmm.... wonder how many of those cards being sent to people with their documents are just going to be thrown away!!
