Information on CBR and CSR , please !

Hi together !
To introduce myself : I myself am 18 and from Germany. I'm going with my girlfriend (also 18) and my parents to WDW for 6 days in end of August.

Our plan is to stay at a "moderate" resort. Which one would you recommend and why?? I'm quite interested in the Carribean Beach Resort and the Coronado Beach Resort, for they seem to have a nice flair and seem quite calm.

Please give me all information on all moderate resorts you have.. links, pictures, aswell as reports of the experiences you have made there.

Max...Welcome to the Dis boards!! I have stayed at both and I would highly recommend staying at CSR. It is really beautiful and the pool theme is awesome. Great food too!! If you have any other questions please feel free to PM me!!

Hi Max,

We love CBR! CBR has great themeing and beautiful sandy beaches with chairs and hammocks to relax. The rooms are quite large with double sinks. The rooms also have a coffee maker and a refrigerator. My family likes staying at Jamaica Village, Building 44 or 45. It is a short walk across the bridge to the main pool and food court. There are quiet pools in each village if you don't feel like going to the main pool. The landscaping is beautiful with nice walkways to get around. The food court has alot of variety and the bus service has always been good. My daughters - ages 15 and 17 - only want to stay at CBR. Check out Safetymom's information. Good luck on your decison.

We have stayed at CBR and will be staying at CSR this summer. CBR was nice but we have no desire to stay there again. Good Luck!

We have stayed at both CBR and CSR and LOVE them both. You cant go wrong with either. CSR is our favorite though-beautiful grounds-so relaxing. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. The food court is seriously, the best of all the resorts. We love CSR!

I stayed at CBR last year, and am currently staying at CSR. I like them both pretty much equally. I think my boyfriend gives a slight edge to CBR because their pool bar is open until 1am (That won't be a big deal for you though). There is a lounge that is open until 1am here, but it has been full of conventionEars talking shop.

The pool area is a lot nicer here at CSR. I also like the food court better. But I enjoyed the theming of CBR more.
