I went to DL for a short bit today and checked out a few things that have been discussed here.
- Tomorrow Landing and Star Traders are both open. There is construction going on in that area, but the stores are open. They are repaving.
- I had a discussion with a Dream Squad member. She answered a few questions.
*they usually (note, not always) are in pairs when giving away dreams. They are always in two's when they give away the "bigger" dreams. (She did not say this, but my guess is to make sure policies are followed.)
*they do indeed wear the white vests when giving away dreams.
*She then said something I found to be VERY interesting. I told her that a friend had won a dream of Priority Seating at the Golden Horsheshoe Billy Hill and the Hillbillies show from a Dream Squad person NOT wearing a white vest. She said that "prize" (along with items like Fantasmic priority seating) is NOT Dreams. They are considered Magic Moments. Dream Squad members are able to give those out as well, but Magic Moments are different than official Dream prizes. This explains something I have wondered, which is why they are not listed in the 2008 Dreams Catalog.
- Line for Nemo was about 20 minutes in the middle of the day... really.
- Saw Mickey and Minnie signing autographs andd taking pictures in their Dream Attire just outside Innoventions and the Pizza Port around 7:15pm tonight. The looks on the kids' faces were priceless. (But I mention this because there has been mention of how late do characters come out. Tonight, this was 45 minutes before the Park closing)
